My work deals with the artist in the most literal sense. Using self-portraiture I want to ex-plore a personal journey into the recesses of the human condition offering glimpses into love, loss and pain. Starting with photographs I translate my self-portraits on to canvas through the medium of oil paint. Through these paintings I want to explore different parts of my personality and through this connect with the viewer who brings similar expe-riences to the work.
